Bill holds a university degree in business management.
Bill and Jackie owned and operated two environmentally conscious businesses for the last 30 years.
During the last 14 years Bill has assisted Environmental Biotech of Hawaii to grow, by developing and conducting educational training presentations with the focus being on regulations and grease waste management for:
✦Culinary art College Classes
✦Hospitality Industry (all food facilities)
✦Hospitality Trade Show Seminars. (more from Trade Shows)
✦Accredited Training Program for the State Hawaii Wastewater Personnel.
We were recognized as leaders in our field, read how others viewed us.
Since Environmental Biotech was part of small but global network, we were fortunate to have access to expertise from sources around the world. We also gained knowledge by working in the field, resolving waste grease issues for many well known hotels and restaurant chains.
Presentations were developed to help upper management comprehend the problems and environmental concerns associated with waste grease. This led to their understanding of the need to fund the updating of programs and systems, to allow the facility to have better grease waste management practices and to comply with new council regulations. Thus, operating their business in a more lawful and environmentally friendly manner.
It then became necessary to help facility staff understand the need for change to be compliant. We developed easy to understand, animated presentations that were focused toward different groups, chefs, stewards and kitchen staff and engineering maintenance departments. Great emphases was placed on the need for all to work as a team.
Since culinary art students would soon be in the hospitality work force, awareness of new regulations and how they could assist their facility to be compliant, was welcomed by faculty at the KCC Culinary Arts College, Honolulu, Hawaii.
The accredited “Grease Summit” was attended by wastewater personnel to further their education and better understand waste grease.
